Neutered Border Collie X. Remember me? You must have seen my picture in the paper. I came to the shelter because my former family didn’t have enough time for me. I don’t mind having roommates. I am in the market for a new family that will appreciate a smart and energetic dog.

Spayed Shepherd X. Finn and her buddy Huck were looking for adventures, but ended up at the shelter. This happy-go-lucky lady enjoys the company of people and other animals. She is looking for a active family who will help her lose those extra pounds and let her regain her girlish figure (too much Christmas turkey)

Neutered Golden Retriever. Huck, Finn’s partner in crime and and the other half of the adventure seeking duo, has promised to settle down and not give in to “Wanderlust” anymore if a loving family is willing to adopt him. From now on, this "almost" senior citizen will be content with casual walks accompanied by his new friends.

Spayed German Shorthair Pointer. This lovely, bi-lingual lady was featured last month, as well. Her previous family brought her to the shelter claiming she didn’t get along with the other pets. Neutered Hound X. Barkley’s former family thought Barkley had too much energy. They didn’t understand he was in training for the NBA, If that doesn't work out he can be a commentator on ESPN. He can be outspoken at times. If you are looking for an active and very social dog, look no more. Barkley is the dog for you!

Spayed Wetherford Cur. With her good looks, talent and personality, she could be a Hollywood star, but she does not want to bother with the fans and paparazzi. Instead, she is looking for a loving home where she can be the center of attention. One look at her and she will steal your heart!

Neutered DMH. To know him is to love him. Licorice is a sweet treat, a lover, very sociable and an all-around great cat. He traveled far before he came to the shelter a year ago. He is ready to settle down with that perfect family to live happily ever after. Please make it very soon!

Neutered DLH. Arrived at the shelter as a stray a very long time ago, was never claimed. Likes to play with other cats, doesn’t mind dogs. His dream: New home with loving people. Other dogs, kids and cats are o.k. Won’t you be his new family, please?

Neutered DSH. Whiskers has been with us since July of last year, and he is ready for new adventures. Whiskers is as handsome as a movie star and just as sexy with a great personality. What more could you want? So check this feline out, he'll steal your heart!

Neutered DMH. Another shelter old-timer. Milo is a very handsome polydactil, which means, not only is he multi-lingual but he also has extra toes. He spent some time on the road but would like to be an indoor cat and enjoy all the amenities of a home with wonderful new housemates who will let him be the center of attention.

Neutered DLH. Handsome, charming, tried breaking into show business, didn’t work. Shelter resident sine October. Still unemployed but looking for work Seeking new friend and roommate; willing to work for rent. No rodent will escape him!

MARLOW
Neutered DSH. Yes, you have seen his picture in the IR before. A long time resident at the Shelter (since December), he is the resident stand-up comedian and all-around funny man Marlow loves to entertain. If you have been looking for a fun pet that can cheer you up on the bluest of days, meet Marlow.

PETEY
Neutered DLH. The cutest pudgy-faced cat you will ever meet. He came to the shelter on a bitterly cold day in January and we have enjoyed his company ever since, but he hopes that very, very soon he’ll find a new family that will shower him with the attention he craves.

KITTY
Spayed DSH. Kitty didn’t want to move to Alaska with her previous owner, and who can blame her. So, she has been living at the Shelter since January but is ready to move on. A joy to be around, she loves cohabitating with dogs. Loves old TV shows, especially “Gunsmoke”

KIDA
Spayed DSH. Exotic, gorgeous, female seeking long-term relationship with single or married individuals, who will appreciate her beauty and loving personality. Unfamiliar with children. Country club taste on a budget. Come on down and meet Kida.

CAESAR
Neutered DSH. Caesar crossed Prospect Ave., was hit by a car, and brought to the shelter. After surgery, he is doing well, but still recovering. Like his namesake, he came, saw and conquered. He has won our affection and will win yours once you meet him.

Spayed DSH. This independent classic beauty will steal your heart. She was on her way to the spa when she got lost back in February. She loves being groomed, but also likes solitude. She is ready for a change of scenery. Please give this little cutie a chance and give her a home. You won't regret it!

KISA
Spayed DSH. My owners decided they had too many cats, so they parted company with me. You might think I am aloof, not so, I am trying to understand humans and their willingness to dispose of their four-legged companions. If you are ready for a lifelong commitment, I would be willing to give it a try. |
