Saisbury, Eldridge, Miller earn honors

MSU-Northern’s Don Saisbury was named offensive player of the week after leading the Lights to a 21-9 win over Rocky Mountain College.
Saisbury, a junior running back from Helena, rushed for 53 yards while having three touchdowns and caught four passes for 30 yards. Saisbury also punted six times for 25 yards.
Jake Eldridge from Helena was named defensive player of the week. Eldridge, a junior defensive back for MSU-Northern, had eight solo tackles, one assisted tackle and two pass interceptions.
Carroll College’s Marcus Miller was named special teams player of the week. Miller, a sophomore kicker, helped the Saints stay unbeaten with a 45-0 shutout over UM-Western. Miller had eight kickoffs for 464 yards while being one for one in field goals and six for six in P.A.T.’s. Miller also blocked a punt and recovered it for a touchdown.
