Wolf comment period extended

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced Tuesday that it would extend by 30 days the comment period for taking gray wolves in the Northern Rockies off of the Endangered Species list.
The comment period was set to expire on April 9, but now will run through May 9.
In addition, a second open house and public hearing will be held at the Cody Auditorium in Cody, Wyo., on Thursday, April 19.
Comments also can be sent via e-mail to NRMGrayWolf@fws.gov or mailed to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Wolf Delisting, 585 Shepard Way, Helena, MT, 59601.
