Names and Faces
Robert Pfeffer, a radiation oncologist from Spokane, will be begin seeing patients this summer at the St. Peter’s Hospital Cancer Treatment Center this summer. He replaces Dr. Steven Todd, who accepted a position in Idaho to be closer to family.
Pfeffer, a Montana native who earned his medical degree at the University of Washington, practiced at Deaconess Medical Center’s Cancer Care Northwest in Spokane for the past two years. He also worked in private practice in Great Falls for 15 years, established an outreach clinic in Lewistown and maintained an established clinic in Havre.
Mike Gilleran of Real Estate of Montana recently attended Tom Lunstredt Seminars. Topics included measuring if a rental property still performs at its full potential and exchanging investment properties to save taxes and increase return on equity.
Mike Cummins of Queen City Insurance was recently named membership representative in the Helena area for the National Association for the Self-Employed, the nation’s leading resource for the self-employed and micro-businesses. Schlenker & McKittrick Architects of Helena recently received the 2007 Historic Preservation Design Award from the Missoula Historic Preservation Commission and the mayor of Missoula for the firm’s design of the Montgomery Ward Building renovation in downtown Missoula. The building was constructed during the Great Depression and served as a retail anchor downtown for decades. It was later purchased by First National Bank of Montana, which retained SMA to design its banking facilities and office space. SMA was founded in 1981.
Changes
Butte-based Computer Geex recently expanded with the opening of an office in Townsend. Karl and Sherry Mitschke recently opened their office at 129 S. Pine St., offering a full range of computer repair, maintenance and networking services. Customers can bring in computers, or the “Geex” can travel to homes and offices in Helena, Townsend, White Sulphur Springs, Three Forks, Bozeman and points in between.
The Mitschkes previously worked for several firms in the Portland area, including Xerox, Tektronix and Hewlett-Packard. Sherry Mitschke is a CompTIA certified A+ service technician, and Karl Mitschke has 26 years of experience with hardware and software support, LAN engineering and programming.
