Rauser brothers win titles at Southern B-C divisional

Overall, nine Townsend and six Boulder grapplers placed in the top four and will be heading to the state tournament in Billings starting Friday.
Jade pinned teammate Keegan Larson in 55 seconds to win the 98-pound championship while Val pinned Lathan Crossland of Cascade/Simms in 2:50.
Also winning a divisional title was Townsend teammate Britton Thompson, who won a 5-4 decision over Cascade/Simms’ Nathan Enochs. Boulder’s Cody George, meanwhile, won the 171-pound event by pinning Justin Rogers in a time of 4:54.
Placing second for the Bulldogs along with Larson was Zack Spritzer (112 pounds). Boulder’s second-place finishers were Darren Wood (152) and Colton Johnson (160).
Townsend’s Torry Michaelson placed third in the 119-pound division with a forfeit over teammate Joel Harvey. Meanwhile, Boulder’s Hunter Johnson took third at heavyweight by pinning Justin Rogers in 4:54.
Fourth places went to Frank Potter and Justin O’Meyer of Townsend.
