By Independent Record - 2/08/08
Head coach Mike Van Diest announced Wednesday that Eli Johnson, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound defensive back, has transferred from Rocky Mountain College and will be joining the five-time NAIA national champion Saints.
Johnson is a former Montana high school all-state selection out of Billings West who started for the Bears last year. He will have three years of eligibility.
The talented recruit could be a difference maker for the Saints who lost three starting defensive backs to graduation.
