Saints men dominate Tech

The Saints put together another solid defensive effort as they won a Frontier Conference game 74-58.
“We played man and played awfully hard,” said Carroll coach Gary Turcott. “The kids came off the bench played hard.”
Carroll held Tech to 1-of-14 from the 3-point line and also outrebounded Tech 31-29.
The Saints were led by Josh Saunders with 20 points and Derek Johnson added 18.
Carroll was 10-of-28 from beyond the 3-point arc. Ten players scored for the Saints in Saturday’s win.
Carroll led 37-30 at the half and pulled away over the final 20 minutes.
Montana Tech was led by Dusan Veselinovic who scored 20 points.
Carroll will host Rocky Mountain College next weekend.
