Thumbs up to computer simulations that should help highway engineers determine the best way to proceed when construction finally starts on the Custer Avenue interchange. The simulations indicated that closing Custer during the work would cause the least traffic congestion as well as substantially shortening the duration of the project.
Thumbs down to the all-too-common habit of reckless ATV driving. A Helena man faced felony charges last week for speeding and causing a crash earlier this month that injured two children who were his passengers.
