Of course they’re bitter

If anyone could be labeled “arrogant and aloof” it is those other presidential candidates that, having been out of touch with real America for years, deny the truth of Barack Obama’s words!
As the former host of the Helena TV production “Voices of the Veterans,” I still receive mail and phone calls decrying America’s neglect of our economically disadvantaged citizens.
America, do you really think the workers in the steel mills of the East, having been told their employment has been curtailed and their mills closed forever, are NOT bitter?
Do you think the loggers and millworkers of our West, told to find other permanent employment, are NOT frustrated? Can you blame the peoples of the southwest, facing constant trespass of their land by illegal immigrants, for choosing the gun to right the wrongs being inflicted upon them?
Wake up, America! You are in far more danger from “America's dispossessed” than you ever were from foreign terrorists!

If we're talking about folks being bitter about losing their jobs, I guess the folks whom built BUGGY WHIPS, COVERED WAGONS, WAGON WHEELS, etc., were just as bitter when modern technology put an end to their trade.
If you performing a job which will become obsolete due to advances in technology, then you better be prepared to be out of work and begin looking for another vocation.
Imagine all of the laborers who lost their jobs when steam shovels came into vogue and the multi-person crews whom were operating those steam shovels found themselves out of work when single person operated front-end loaders came into vogue.
Here's an idea, lets give up on technology and return to the 18th or 19th century.

Those whom serve in the military don't do it for the pay because there are far more higher paying jobs in the civilian environment.
