2-acre fire breaks out near Wolf Creek

The fire, which is off Highway 434 at mile marker 8, is in steep terrain and moving slowly, according to Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Cheryl Liedle.
No homes are being threatened by the blaze, she said.
A Department of Natural Resources and Conservation helicopter is helping the efforts along with the Craig and Wolf Creek volunteer fire departments.
The cause of the fire, which was reported at about 12:30 p.m., is under investigation.
