We must impeach
By Richard Notkin, P.O. Box 698 - 08/03/08
We must utilize the impeachment clause of the U.S. Constitution to bring the president and vice-president to justice — no American is above the law, including the highest officers of our nation. This is what has always distinguished America from other nations, which allowed dictators to excercise total power over the people. Is this what we have become? Impeach Bush and Cheney, now, and restore our country’s status as a nation of laws, not of men.

Since I know the IR doesn't publish every letter to the opinion page It makes me wonder why they think 3 of these letters in a row are opinion worthy. They had nothing else to choose from in the mail bag?

Can we stop and think before we write a "letter to the editor" demanding impeachment? "

Just the "hoariest" arguments.
Definition: hoary = overused: old and stale from overuse. "

The loons are really coming out of the woodwork lately. Three letters about impeaching the president and vice president in two weeks.
Don't you loons think that if the DEMOCRAT-controlled congress had any solid evidence that either one of them did what you loons, they would have filed articles of impeachment by now???
Just because YOU claim they did something wrong DOES NOT mean it is true.
I have a number of questions about Sen Baucus'ethics. Have I called for his removal from office? Nope.
I have a number of questions about governor schweitzer. Have I called for his removal from office? Nope.
Just because you democrats despise President Bush and consider him Hitler, the anti-christ, etc., etc., does not mean the congress should impeach him.
If everyone were to use that as a yardstick, this nation would not have a single politician. "

You wannabe more specific as to what freedoms the citizens of this nation have lost?
And try using a source other than the DailyKOS, Moveon.org, Media Matters, Democrat Underground, The Huffington Post. All of those sites are well known to hate President Bush with a vengance for the simple reason he is not a liberal.
Whom is it that is attempting to reintroduce the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE? If the democrats pull this off, the people will be left with only the LEFT WING PROPAGANDA as their news sources. The media is only fair, according to democrats, when only the liberal version is provided just as when Hitler's propaganda ministry was feeding the German people Hitler's view of the world. "
