Events for teens on tap at library

The books and discussion days are:
- Monday, Aug. 18, 6:30 p.m. — “Ender’s Game”
- Tuesday, Aug. 19, 6:30 p.m. — “A Lesson Before Dying”
- Monday, Aug. 25 — “The Grass Dancer”
- Tuesday, Aug. 26 — “The Heart is a Lonely Place” Copies of the books are available at the library’s information desk.
Beat the heat series
The Lewis and Clark Library has announced the August events in its summer Beat the Heat series.
On Aug. 14, from 2-4 p.m., there will be a Guitar Hero tournament in the library’s large meeting room.
On Aug. 21, 2 p.m., the library will show the movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark” (PG) in the large meeting room.
