Great West Engineering recently announced several additions to its Helena staff.
Ryan Elliott joins the firm’s transportation group. A recent graduate of Montana State University, Elliott will assist with engineering design, site surveying, mapping and construction inspection.
Kyle Halseth joins the firm after five years with the U.S. Air Force, specializing in civil engineering. He will work with the municipal group, designing and inspecting municipal water and wastewater projects.
Judy Smith joins the administrative team as the new receptionist. She has 35 years of office support experience.
Charity Rowsey, an account manager for Anderson ZurMuehlen’s Valuation and Litigation Consulting Services Department, has earned the designation of Certified Forensic Financial Analyst from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Tony Murnion, technology services manager and shareholder at Anderson ZurMuehlen, is now a Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Specialist on Dynamics GP. He has been with the firm since 1982 and holds a number of other certifications.
Charla Taylor of Real Estate of Montana has passed the Montana Board of Realty Regulations’ Broker’s Exam.
Crystal Eckerson has joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a home mortgage consultant. She brings eight years of experience in finance and lending and will specialize in residential lending. She can be reached at 457-4594.
Dan Silverman of East Helena has been named by Cellular One as district sales manager for the eastern region of Montana. He began his career with Cellular One in 2007 as market manager for Helena.
Mountain West Bank recently announced several staff changes.
Rick Bell has joined the bank as a commercial construction loan officer. He brings 19 years of experience in construction and 17 years of experience in construction equipment rental and sales to his new position.
Priscilla Ellis has been promoted to Mountain West Bank’s new training officer, responsible for coordinating training policies and procedures for each department of each of the bank’s branches across Montana.
Pat McLaughlin has been promoted to real estate construction loan officer. He has several years of small business experience and was previously the bank’s building maintenance supervisor.
Tammy Sperry has been promoted to financial officer. She holds a degree in finance from Carroll College and has been with the bank for six years.
Recognition
David M. Olson, an agent for New York Life Insurance Co., has qualified to attend the company’s Executive Council and earned membership in the Million Dollar Round Table for 2007.
Learning Ops
A free seminar entitled “Major Gifts: Finding the Perfect Donors,” on creating sustainable funding for nonprofits, will be held Thursday, Aug. 21, from 8:30 to 10:30 at the Rocky Mountain Development Council Neighborhood Center. Representatives of Seattle-based Benevon will teach a system for identifying and cultivating donors who love a group’s mission, including a proven system for generating a steady stream of major donors; a method for converting existing donors into major donors; and how to engage a board in the fundraising process without requiring that they ask for money.
