State computer maintenance to briefly affect FWP license sales
By Independent Record - 09/20/2008
The state computer network that hosts Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ automated licensing system is scheduled for maintenance work from 6 a.m. to noon, Sunday.
The ability to purchase hunting and fishing licenses during the Sunday maintenance work will be briefly affected from 6-6:15 a.m., 7-7:15 a.m.; and 9-9:30 a.m. Officials noted that Internet and license-provider access to FWP’s licensing system could be intermittently disrupted during the six-hour statewide network updates.
FWP’s Ron Aasheim suggested that people who want a fishing or hunting license by Sunday plan ahead and buy one today.
