Names and Faces

Sherry Regensberger, certified registered nurse with St. Peter’s Hospice, recently passed the certification exam to be a Certified Pain Management nurse through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Keith Kelly, commissioner of the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, was recently named to the board of directors of Bank of the Rockies. Kelly has served on the advisory board of the bank’s Helena office since the branch opened in December, 2006.

Nisan Burbidge has been hired as the new internship coordinator/career specialist at Carroll College. She was previously the site coordinator at the Educational Opportunity Center for MSU-Northern in Havre. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Western Washington University.

Shelly Edwards has joined the professional group at Montana Psychotherapy Clinic. She provides counseling services for a number of disorders and conditions to adults, adolescents, children and families as well as individual courses in anger management and parenting as well as custody evaluations. Her previous experience includes outpatient community mental health in inpatient psychiatric hospital settings. She can be reached for appointments at 449-4623, ext. 5.

Brent Schlimgen recently joined Montana Magazine as an advertising sales consultant for the western Montana region. His background includes experience in residential real estate sales in the Bitterroot and Missoula valleys, wholesale lumber sales and 10 years with a local software development company. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana.

Summer Hood recently joined Montana Magazine as an advertising consultant for the eastern region of the state. She has over a decade of experience in sales, publishing and public relations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Meredith College.

Jason Crawford recently joined the Helena office of Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, where he will assist local and regional clients with municipal engineering design and project management. He holds a degree in civil engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman.

Recognition

Morrison-Maierle, Inc.
was recently ranked as one of the nation’s “Top 25 Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For” by CE News magazine. This is the first year Morrison-Maierle competed in the magazine’s survey of firms of all sizes across the country. The firm ranked 13th overall in the Civil Engineering category and 4th in the mid-size company (between 100 and 400 employees) ranking among other firms applying for the nationwide survey. Firms are ranked by their own employees as well as a panel of judges who rate each firm’s ability to provide a well-balanced, supportive professional working environment that fosters the success of both the individual and the business.

Barry McNamara and Greg Zeller, account executives with KMTX AM/FM, qualified as members of the Manning Society in recognition of outstanding sales achievement at the Montana Broadcasters Association Sales Clinic/Awards Luncheon in Missoula last month. This is McNamara’s seventh such award and Zeller’s 19th.

Learning Ops

Ed Clinch of Edward Jones will host a “group-live” broadcast on “The Lifecycle of a Limited Liability Company Treated as a Partnership” on Wednesday, Oct. 29 from noon to 3 p.m. at 1235 Birch St., Ste. 4. The program features a review of the basic rules of LLCs and an update on the latest developments on these entities. Cost is $60 and lunch is included.
