No. 2 Sioux Falls tops Saint Ambrose 28-0

Sioux Falls’ top-ranked defense held the Bees to 139 total yards and intercepted three passes in a first-round blowout on Saturday.

The Cougars racked up 312 yards on 217 yards rushing while quarterback Lorenzo Brown also connected on 11 of 17 passes for 95 yards and three TDs.

No. 3 St. Francis 58,

No. 11 Union College 3

The Cougars jumped to a 24-3 lead by the end of the first half and more than doubled that in the third quarter with 27 points.

St. Francis’ Daniel Carter rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.

No. 9 Langston 20, No. 4 MidAmerica Nazarene 14

The Lions jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the first quarter and held on as MidAmerica scored all their points in the second.

The Pioneers outgained their opponent 346-297, but couldn’t rally as they gave up two interceptions and two fumbles.

No. 7 Lindenwood 65,

Lambuth 48

Lindenwood quarterback Ben Kisner went 25-of-32 for 352 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Lions to victory.

Receiver Rudy Fleming had eight receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

No. 8 Cumberlands 31,

No. 12 Shorter 7

The Cumberlands racked up 380 yards of offense, 295 of it coming on the ground, as they steamrolled the Hawks.

Freddy West led the Patriots with 78 yards and three touchdowns.
