Names and Faces

Gary Novota of Select Realty was recently awarded the Graduate Realtor Institute designation, attending more than 90 hours of instruction in a variety of subjects. Novota also recently completed a specialized course entitled "Business Planning and Marketing for the Residential Specialist," conducted by the Council of Residential Specialists of the National Association of Realtors.

The automotive training program at UM-Helena has received certification by both the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). The program was certified in all eight of the examined areas: automatic transmission and transaxle; brakes; electrical/electronic systems; engine performance; engine repair; heating and air conditioning; manual drive train & axles; and suspension and steering.

Irene Bushnell of Anderson ZurMuehlen & Co.'s Accounting Services Department recently completed Intuit's QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions certification exam.

Recognition

Darryl Rensmon, chief information officer for Morrison-Maierle and president of Morrison-Maierle Systems Corp., recently received the Montana State University Billings Alumni Association J. Cody Montalban Award for Outstanding Service at the recent Outstanding Alumni Awards Brunch in Billings. The award recognizes Rensmon's giving of time and energy to the Alumni Association and its programs. He holds a bachelor's degree in information systems management from the university and currently serves on the MSU Billings Foundation Board of Trustees, the MSU Billings College of Technology National Advisory Board and the Drafting and Design Advisory Board.

Changes

Shairon Sears is moving her yoga and massage business. Mind Body Spirit will soon be located in the Creative Arts Center at 718 Logan. She previously taught at the Broadwater Athletic Club and in her studio at Immaculata Hall. She can be reached at 461-4955.

Amanda Hatch recently opened Katerpillar Korner Daycare at 1229 N. Roberts, providing learning-based day care for infants and children up to 3 years old. She has 10 years of professional child care experience, and the business is state registered and insured and participates in the food program.
