Names and Faces

Michael E. McKee was elected to the board of directors of Provident Financial, a Kalispell-based loan and investment company. The owner of McKee Consulting and Investments, he recently retired as president of Elkhorn Federal Credit Union and was previously employed in the state auditor's office as a securities and insurance fraud investigator.

Rich Falconer has been named manager of logistics at American Chemet Corp. in East Helena, in charge of the company's shipping department and warehouse. He joined the firm in 1989 in the accounting department. After 14 years, he left that department as a senior accountant to become purchasing coordinator. Falconer holds a bachelor's degree from Montana State University and received his CPA certificate in 1992.

Deb Rainey and Marge Foran of Helena were recently honored by the Montana Dental Association with the group's 2007 Outstanding Dental Hygienist Award. They were nominated by their employer, Helena dentist John Smith. Rainey has practiced dental hygiene for 33 years; Foran, who also is a clinical instructor for the dental hygiene program at MSU-Great Falls College of Technology, has practiced for 26 years.

Brent L. Coleman recently joined Doney Crowley Bloomquist Uda, P.C., as an associate attorney. He holds a bachelor's degree from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, a master's from Brigham Young University and his law degree from the Vermont Law School. Coleman worked as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court in Utah and was a sole practitioner in Salt Lake City prior to moving to Helena. His practice areas locally will include telecommunications, natural resources and administrative law.

Changes

Scharnweber Chiropractic is opening at 2722 Billings Ave., behind Wal-Mart. Doctors Jesse and Cristin Scharnweber are joined by Marji Stier in helping families experience improved health and vitality. In addition to their practice, the Scharnwebers regularly speak to schools, businesses and other organizations on health and wellness topics. They can be reached at 443-7000.

Allegra Print & Imaging recently made an investment of more than $1 million in new equipment, including a Ryobi 780E four-color press, a new Perfecta air-fed cutter, Baum folder and a Standard Horizon perfect binder.
