Names and Faces

Keely Obert has joined Morrison-Maierle, Inc. as an engineering intern. She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Montana State University and expects to complete in December a master's in civil engineering from the University of Calgary, after completing her research in ice forces on bridge piers.

Shaun McManus has joined the staff of Select Realty as a real estate agent. McManus is an Idaho native and is majoring in business at Carroll College.

Great West Engineering recently announced two additions to its staff.

Matt King joins the firm's survey team. He brings 17 years of surveying experience from across the state, including roads, airports, water and wastewater projects.

Marty Binde will be involved in surveying, drafting and design of a number of municipal and private development projects. He has more than 10 years of experience in the engineering field.

Mike Mergenthaler, vice president of the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce, recently graduated from the Institute for Organization Management, a four-year non-profit leadership training program at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Kelly Mitchell has joined the staff of Century 21 Heritage Realty. He brings eight years of experience as a closing agent for a title company and three years of experience as a closer for a mortgage company. He can be reached at 443-1432 or 459-3588.

Corey Crum has been promoted to vice president of Mountain West Bank. He joined the bank in 2001 as a credit analyst and has since worked as assistant vice president and commercial loan officer. He holds a finance degree from Montana State University and is in the second of three years at Pacific Coast Banking School.

Carrie Stenhjem has been appointed assistant operations officer of Mountain West Bank's Helena branch. She also acts as the bank's special projects manager. Stenhjem joined Mountain West Bank in 1998 as a teller and has worked as assistant bookkeeping supervisor and bookkeeping supervisor before taking on her current roles.
