Jim Tucker Jr. recently joined the Red Lion Colonial Hotel as sales manager for the hotel's corporate, tour, events and international markets. Linda McCray will be a presenter at Form/Reform: The National Conference on Environment and Art for Catholic Worship in San Jose, Calif., July 16-19. Her two presentations are The Marketing and Advertising Way, and Contemporary Art and Its Place in Catholic Worship. McCray teaches art and business at the UM-Helena College of Technology and facilitates art-and-faith retreats and liturgical art workshops.
Brian Johnson has joined the sales staff of the Waterford on Saddle Drive as a retirement counselor. He was previously an administrative assistant at the Waterford. Johnson holds a bachelor's degree in English and theology and religious studies from Seattle University.
Brenda Markle recently joined the staff of Main Connection Travel of Helena as a travel specialist. She was previously with Morris Murdock Travel and has 19 years of experience in the travel industry, including five in the Helena area. She can be reached at 443-4199.
Blair Krumm, master electrician and owner of Apex Electric, recently met all the experience and testing requirements to become a North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners certified installer of photovoltaic systems.
The Helena Regional Airport Authority elected new officers at its June 16 Airport Authority meeting. They are: chair, Mark Eichler, pharmacy programs director, Mountain-Pacific Quality Health Foundation; vice chair, Phil Johnson, president, First Interstate Bank; secretary/treasurer, Bob Fusie, retired business person.

Connie Norling, certified massage therapist, has moved her business, Connie's Massage Therapy, to a new location at 2230 N. Sanders, next to Haute Headz Hair & Nail Design. She can be reached at 465-5021.

The IR welcomes reports of hirings, promotions, awards, recognition, learning opportunities and other news from local companies and nonprofits. We accept press releases and photos (digital images at 300 dpi or more are preferred, but we can also use regular photos; we don't guarantee return of these).
There is no charge for items appearing in the Business Briefcase. Items are run on a space-available basis, and we reserve the right to edit and use information as we see fit. The deadline is Tuesday at noon to be considered for publication the following Sunday.
The best way to send information and photos is by e-mail to john.harrington@helenair.com. We also accept information by fax (447-4052), snail mail (P.O. Box 4249 Helena, MT 59601-4249, attention John Harrington), or you can drop it off at our downtown office, located at 317 Cruse Ave.
