Susan and Fred Stanaway and Brookes Morin of Helena announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Michelle Morin to David Thomas Holien, son of Mark and Julie Holien of Britt, Minn.

Laura graduated from Gonzaga University in 2005 with a degree in mathematics and biology and a master's in nutrition in 2007; she graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2008 with a degree in dosimetry. She works as a medical dosimetrist at St. Peter's Hospital Cancer Treatment Center.

David is a graduate of North Dakota State University, 2006, with a degree in civil engineering. He is a civil engineer with the Montana State Department of Transportation.

The couple is planning an Aug. 30, 2008, wedding in Helena.
