Wait and see how quickly air travel slows down when those EXTRA fees for those who travel during the holidays kick in.
The airlines in this country sure know how to show their appreciation to the taxpayers after the taxpayers bailed them out after 9/11. Air fares have gone up, airlines are now charging an extra fee for baggage, even one airline installed pay toilets on their planes, no longer do they feed you and they charge an arm and a leg for refreshments [water, soda, etc.].
Yep, those billions of our tax dollars bailing out the airlines did us a lot of good, huh?
No wonder that United is the "weak link" when you can take the short drive to Bozeman and pay about $200 less for a ticket to Denver. It is worth the drive.
