This weekend, Lincoln will note Montana's connection with the Alaska Iditarod sled dog race, including four-time winner Doug Swingley.
The 8th Annual Iditarod Day begins at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 14, at the Lincoln Community Hall.
Iditarod veterans will be on hand to greet the public and community supporters and to share highlights and stories of the historic l,100-mile race across Alaska.
This year's event will include a musher's trail camp, sled dog displays and equipment, sled dog merchandise and a silent auction. Refreshments will be served at the event, which is free.
