Public offices and services will have unusual hours over the July 4 holiday weekend.

Government offices will be closed Friday; most post office locations will close at noon on Friday, and they will be closed on Saturday. Most collection times on Friday will be moved to noon.

There will be mail delivery on Friday, but not on Saturday other than Sunday/Holiday Premium Express Mail.

Public school offices will be closed on Friday, and Carroll College offices will be closed on Friday and Saturday.

There will be no garbage pickup on Friday. The Helena Area Transit Service will not run either on Friday or Saturday. The Independent Record's offices will be closed on Friday, and the Lewis and Clark Library will be closed on Friday and Saturday.
