Soroptimist Clubs are hosting a community baby shower, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, to provide gift and baby necessity items for area women in need.

The Soroptimists are asking for donations of the following items for the shower:

Newborn-size disposable diapers, baby powder, baby oil, baby shampoo, pacifiers, baby wipes, receiving blankets/quilts, knitted booties/ hats, etc., bottles, T-shirts/onesies for newborns, socks for newborns, Q-tips, baby toys, pajamas, sanitary napkins, and breast pads.

Cash donations may be sent to: Attn: Linda Cook, Soroptimist International of Helena, P.O. Box 1216, Helena, MT 59601. Checks may be made out to SI of Helena.

Unwrapped, donated items can be dropped off at the following locations through March 3: Osco West, Osco East, The Real Food Store and Deli, Albertsons East, Albertsons North, and K-Mart.
