A lot has changed since the day Brian Kjensmo took his first rifle with him on the bus for show-and-tell at school. He was 15-years old then, and today his fondness of fire arms hasn't changed.

Kjensmo, 50, of Park City, is the owner of Sports Connection, the company that hosted the 2008 Helena Gun Show held over the weekend at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds.

There was record attendance at the three-day event, he said.

"I've never seen the level of interest in any gun show, including post-911 as we have in this particular gun show," Kjensmo said.

More than 70 vendors offered visitors merchandise from all aspects of the shooting industry, including historic pistols, modern firearms, American Indian artifacts and black-powder products.
