Supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama are holding a statewide event in Helena on Saturday, July 14.
The agenda for the event includes:
- 10-10:30 a.m. Registration at Helena High School
- 10:30-10:40 a.m. Introductions.
- 10:40-11:20 a.m. Keynote speakers Nathan Kosted, Montana field director for the Obama campaign; and Jim Farrell, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party.
- 11:20- 11:30 a.m. Door prizes and directions for walk to Capitol
- 11:30 a.m. Walk from Helena High to Montana Capitol Building for speakers from around the state.
- 12:30-1:30 p.m. Lunch break and return to Helena High.
- 1:30-2:45 p.m. Break-out sessions including action at the local level and action statewide and beyond.
- 2:45-3 p.m. Closing session.
