Family nurse practitioner Danielle Redfield joined the Boulder Medical Clinic this fall, providing care for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

A Helena native, Redfield said she first visited the Boulder Clinic with her class, while studying to become a nurse practitioner.

"I've really enjoyed my time here," she said during a recent phone interview. "I am really looking forward to working with the community of Boulder."

Redfield, who lives in Clancy with her husband Jason, previously served as a nurse practitioner at the outpatient clinic at Fort Harrison Veteran's Administration Hospital and also as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit.

She's also been a family nurse practitioner at Helena Urgent Care and the Family Medical Clinic in Townsend.

Redfield earned a master's degree in nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane in 2006 and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Montana State University in 2001.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For appointments call 225-4201. A physician from the Family Health Clinic at St. Peter's Hospital visits the clinic three days a week.
