A program designed to spotlight community-minded students in Helena is featured in a full-page advertisement in the Sept. 8 zoned edition of Time magazine.

Helena Toyota's "Best Foot Forward" advertising spots recognize a different middle school or high school student and his or her accomplishments each month.

Helena Toyota pays for the airtime to broadcast the commercials and makes a donation to the student's charity of choice.

The program earned the dealership the "Toyota President's Award" for outstanding sales, customer service and quality.

The award is the subject of the Time advertisement, which includes a photograph of Jim Stanger, the dealership's president, Helena School District Superintendent Bruce Messinger, Debbie Schmidt of Beartooth NBC and Helena middle-school student Laura Haller.

The edition of the magazine containing the advertisement will be sent to subscribers in the Helena area. It may not be available in editions sold in stores.
