A hearing slated today for the deliberate homicide case against Sebastian Walter Olivares-Coster has been vacated.

The defense attorneys representing Olivares-Coster, 17, have waived the right to a transfer hearing, which would have decided whether the case would proceed in youth or district court.

The case also has been moved from District Judge Jeffrey Sherlock's court to District Judge Dorothy McCarter's court after the defense filed a motion to substitute judges on Friday.

The next court date in the case has not been scheduled.

Olivares-Coster remains in custody in Great Falls in lieu of $500,000 bond for the felony homicide charge as well as two counts of attempted deliberate homicide. He is accused of shooting and killing Cory Adam Andrewski, 16, on June 3 and seriously injuring Kahner Leary, 15, and Joey Wohlers, 16.

Leary and Wohlers both have been released from hospitalization.
