The third annual Community Ball, "Dancing With the Stars and Stripes," will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Great Northern Hotel ballroom.

The afffair is hosted by the Montana National Guard and the Military Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Commerce.

The evening begins at 7, with ceremonies including a "missing warriors remembrance salute: remarks from guest speaker Maj. Gen. Randall Mosley, adjutant general of the Montana National Guard; and recognition of several local businesses by Helena's Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves committee.

Music gets under way at 8:45 p.m. with Montana Country Comfort.

Local area dance groups will present various demonstrations during the band's first two breaks.

The Helena ESGR committee will recognize area businesses for their support of employees who also serve in the military guard and reserve. The businesses were nominated by their employees who serve in the guard and reserves.
