Susan Frances Moore, 43, of Garrison died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2008, in a Helena hospital.
Susan was born Feb.27, 1965, in Clovis, N.M., the daughter of James F. and Martha A. Sercey Sr. She was raised in Clovis, where she attended Clovis schools, graduating from high school in 1983. She attended Eastern New Mexico University for two years.
On Feb. 22, 1988, she married Brian Philip Moore in Clovis. Following their marriage they moved to England, while Brian was in the service. They returned to Clovis in 1990. In 1991 they moved to Avon and later to Garrison, where she has since resided.
Susan attended Helena Tech for four years, where she earned two associate's degrees in computer science and had started at Carroll College in the fall of 2006, working toward a computer programming degree. She worked as a customer service representative for the Montana State Fund until ill health forced her retirement on April 14, 2008.
Susan enjoyed school, computers and was a lover and collector of teddy bears.
She is survived by her husband, Brian of Garrison; two daughters, Mindy of Clovis, and Jessica of Garrison; son, Kalen of Garrison; three grandchildren, Emma, Quinton and Colter; parents, James F. and Martha A. Sercey Sr. of Clovis; two sisters, Wanda Dias of Houston, and Nancy Munoz of Fort Worth, Texas; and one brother, James F. Sercey Jr. of Fort Worth.
Funeral services honoring Susan will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Potter's House Church, 400 North Main, Clovis, N.M. Burial will follow in Bovina, Cemetery, Bovina, Texas. A celebration of Susan's life will be held at a later date in Helena. Arrangements are under the direction of Retz Funeral Home and Muffley Funeral Home, Clovis, N.M.
