An Open Letter to Senator Baucus, Senator Tester and Congressman Rehberg:

I am writing to you to urge you to stop President Obama's proposal to bring terrorists captured on the battlefield to the United States.

The reason we are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan is to avoid having acts of terrorism and terrorists here at home. By bringing terrorists to our country, the President is going to do the very act these two wars are being fought to prevent!

The President will make America less safe. These terrorists are so dangerous that even their own countries don't want them back. Even a minuscule potential for their escape is a risk NOT worth taking. The terrorists incarcerated in America will become magnets for other terrorists to attempt to win their freedom through acts of terror against Americans.

Will any shopping mall be safe if it is near a prison where such terrorists are held? Will prison security personnel be protected on and off the job the way our soldiers are in Gitmo?

If you vote to disallow the transfer of terrorists to our country you will honor the sacrifice of our soldiers and place the security of American citizens first.
