When so many things work so well, we want Helena to know. On Wednesday, July 2, the Myrna Loy Center for the Performing Arts offered two special matinee showings of Young @ Heart for Helena area Foster Grandparents, Senior Companions, and Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) participants.

The RSVP program orchestrated the event. And all three Senior Corps Programs, which are part of Rocky Mountain Development Council, chose to honor their dedicated volunteers by inviting them to this magical movie. The movie illustrated what the volunteers live: That no matter our age, when we use all our talents and stay committed to our communities, we remain young at heart. The Myrna Loy staff welcomed us with warm and thoughtful hospitality. Whether shouting to join the onscreen Young @ Heart chorus or crying at the poignant message, our volunteers again illustrated how and why their time and talents keep Helena running. Our thanks and respect to everyone involved.
