In many ways the founders of our nation warned of the dangers of allowing an overbearing government to save us from personal risk and struggle so as to have our freedoms stolen from our children. Though for over 200 years our soldiers fought to protect freedom, a great leader so aptly pointed out that freedom can be lost in a single generation. So, here we are on the precipice of allowing government sprawl to take over one the most precious aspects of our private lives: our health, all because it sounds so inviting to receive "free health care." Do you really think that it's "free" and that it will work? This is just one example of government intrusion and destruction of freedom that is occurring at mach speed.

Many people scoffed when we warned that government bailouts would lead to direct government takeover. Those laughing now are D.C. power mongers and radical fringe groups that pine for an America thrown back to the pre-industrial age.

It's time to stand up for freedom and let elected officials know that you will not go quietly into that abyss called socialism.
