Missoulia woman arrested after stabbing

MISSOULA (AP) -- Missoula police have arrested an 18-year-old woman after her boyfriend was stabbed in the back with a kitchen knife.

Officers arrested Reanna Gustafson on suspicion of felony assault with a weapon.

The victim was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital on Saturday.

Gustafson is jailed on $50,000 bail and is expected to appear in Justice Court on today.

Officials ID man killed in motor-scooter crash

KALISPELL (AP) -- Officials have released the name of a 57-year-old Kalispell man who died after a motor scooter crash.

The Montana Highway Patrol says Darrel Baker's motor scooter crashed on Stillwater Road north of Kalispell at about 7 a.m. Friday. He was pronounced dead at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Michelle Obama to visit Billings, Kalispell

BILLINGS (AP) -- The campaign of presidential hopeful Barack Obama has announced details of Michelle Obama's visit to Billings and the addition of a stop in Kalispell.

She is scheduled to attend a ''Get Out the Vote'' event at Billings Hotel and Convention Center, starting at noon today.

The event is free and open to the public, however tickets are required. The campaign says tickets are available at Obama's campaign headquarters in Billings to people who sign up to work a ''Get Out the Vote'' shift by either going door-to-door or making phone calls.

Michelle Obama is also scheduled to be in Kalispell this afternoon at an event that will be open only to campaign volunteers.
