DEER LODGE (AP) -- The lockdown at the Montana State Prison continued Friday, but some restrictions were eased.
Visitation resumes Saturday for low-security inmates and Sunday for high-security inmates. However, "any inmate behavior problems will cancel all visits," spokeswoman Linda Moodry said.
Inmate phone privileges, which had been suspended, were restored Friday.
A toll-free hot line -- 1-888-739-9122 -- has been established with updated information on visitation and phone service.
An attempt by inmates to carve a hole through the double walls of a high-security housing unit prompted the lockdown around noon Wednesday.
Correctional officers found the camouflaged hole while conducting a random search of the unit.
