YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) -- A 2-year-old grizzly bear was relocated to a remote part of Yellowstone National Park after repeated attempts to haze it away from inhabited areas failed.

Park officials said the sow was captured Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday, it was fitted with ear tags and a radio collar and taken to a remote area on the south arm of Yellowstone Lake where it was released.

The bear had not been eating human food, but was thought to be tolerant of people after it made numerous visits to Lake Village, often chewing on garden hoses and hoses used for sewage hookups to employee trailer homes.
