The East Helena Valley Rodeo Association recently presented scholarships to thirteen local high school rodeo team members based on their academic and rodeo achievements.

Scholarships for $100 were awarded to Tia Hilger, Kelsey Hanson, Cierra Kunesh, Layne Wiebe, Tim Sparing, C.R. Kunesh, Garrett Hanson, Tanner Theriault and Ryan O'Master. They recently competed in the Silver State International High School Rodeo in Fallon, Nevada.

Scholarships for $150 were awarded to Tyler Erickson, Brett Poe, Annie Novotny and Cassidy Nordahl. They will compete at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Farmington, New Mexico, July 20-26.
