The Carroll College football team has recently signed three players for its 2008 recruiting class.

Carroll's signees include Aaron Lenk, a 6-foot-2, 275 pound offensive lineman from Graham, Wash.

Lenk was a first-team all-conference selection and a second-team all-state choice from Kapowsin High School.

He has earned three letters in football, three in track and one in wrestling.

Lenk has been chosen to play in the Washington East-West Shrine game and he has a 3.8 GPA.

Idaho State and Linfield College in Oregon both recruited Lenk.

The Saints also landed Chance Demarais, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound running back from Malta.

He was chosen as a first-team all-state selection as a junior and a senior.

Demarais rushed for 2,068 yards and 29 touchdowns this past season.

In his career, Demarais rushed for 3,754 yards and 52 touchdowns. He was selected to play in the Mon-Dak All Star game and the East-West Shrine game.

Demarais was a two-time state champion in wrestling. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and has been an academic all-state selection for four years.

Montana Tech, Chadron State and Montana State all recruited Demarais.

The third member to join Carroll is Connor Goudreau, a 6-foot-5, 230 pound offensive lineman from San Jose, Calif.

Goudreau is a two-year letter winner in football, basketball and lacrosse at Bellermine Prep High School.

He was an honorable mention all-conference selection this past season, leading his team to the conference championship.

He was recruited by Sacramento State and Air Force.

"I am very excited about these three athletes," said Carroll College coach Mike Van Diest. "The offensive line is a top priority in this class and Aaron and Connor bring size and athleticism that we are looking for.

"We felt from day one that Chance was the best running back on our recruiting board. He will be an outstanding player in our offense."
