Lauren Formaz, a co-captain of the Helena High swim team, will be swimming for the NCAA Division I Pepperdine Waves in Malibu, Calif., this fall.

Formaz, who has competed at the Regional and Zone levels in USA Swimming, holds numerous Montana age-group championships and Helena Lions Swim Team records. She has lettered and has earned Academic All-State honors in swimming each of her four years of high school.
