The Helena Reps wrapped up their four-game Lewistown Tournament on Sunday in strange fashion.
There was originally supposed to be a championship contest held Sunday, the final day of the tournament, and the Class A Reps would have been competing for the title. However the championship was canceled for unknown reasons and the Reps, who went 3-1 in the tournament, were forced to come home with the second-place trophy.
Helena's only loss of the tournament came against a team from Aberdeen, Wash. A championship would have been a rematch between Helena and Aberdeen, but since Aberdeen beat the Reps on Friday, it got to take top honors back to Washington.
Helena coach Brian Wieck said he would have liked to have had a chance to play the Washington crew again and vie for first.
Jake Harris finished the tournament with three home runs, two doubles and three triples.
"He didn't get the MVP award either, and I'm not really sure why," Wieck said. "But he's our MVP, that's for sure."
In the final game of the tournament Sunday, the Reps beat Vauxhall 11-7.
