OGDEN, Utah -- Montana quarterback Cole Bergquist is the Big Sky Conference offensive player of the week.

Bergquist is a 6-2, 206-pound senior from San Clemente, Calif. He completed 17 of 19 passes for 290 yards, with four touchdowns and no interceptions, in eighth-ranked Montana's 43-7 victory over Sacramento State. He also rushed nine times for 39 yards, scoring on a 14-yard run. Bergquist fired TD passes of 31 and 73 yards to Mike Ferriter, and of 24 and 46 yards to Marc Mariani.

Northern Colorado linebacker Cristian Sarmento and Eastern Washington running back Ryan Kelley are the co-defensive players of the week.

Weber State returner/wide receiver Bryant Eteuati is the special teams player of the week.
