The program annually fields teams for about 500 young soccer players. All games are played at the Siebel Soccer Park, one of the largest chemical-free soccer facilities in the Western United States. The soccer park is located near the Helena Regional Airport. It features indoor sanitation and snack bar.
The new Futbol First Touch, ";FIT" program, for fourth to eighth grades, will provide players with a focus on skill development. The program will be guided by long time Helena soccer coach, John Hollow. This program will have head coaches with national level training and will be supported by Carroll College and Helena and Capital High players modeling great soccer skills.
FIT sessions for children in grades 4-8 are two nights a week, with Sunday games. All sessions will be at Siebel Fields. Teams will be adjusted to match skill level with challenges on the field.
For children grades K-3 the focus will continue to be on fun, fitness, and participation. They will learn basic soccer skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Practices will be one night a week, and games on Sunday.
The Registration fee is $55 for children grades K-3 and $85 for grades 4-8, with discounts for families with more than one player. Some players may also need to purchase a $12.99 league uniform. HYSA offers reduced fees or scholarships for some families.
