GREAT FALLS (AP) -- University of Great Falls track and field coach Jim Brewer has announced the signing of sprinter Gabriela Smith of Evanston, Wyo.

Smith was the 100 meter South Regional Champion in 2007 with a personal best time of 12.88 seconds. She has run a 27.09 in the 200 meters and a 1:02.42 in the 400 meters.

Brewer says Smith has experience running indoor and outdoor track as well as cross country. Smith also competes in the hurdles, long and high jump.
