The Carroll College volleyball team swept their way through the Pepsi Classic at MSU-Northern on Saturday, beating the host team in the gold-medal game 25-20, 25-15, 18-25, 28-26.
The Saints (17-5) won all both their games on Friday and defeated Lethbridge College (Alb.) 25-9, 25-20, 25-12 earlier in the day.
The win gives the Saints a boost as they enter into the second half of the Frontier Conference season Thursday with a home match against Rocky Mountain College.
"We're gaining confidence as we go, and I think it's going to catapult us into the second half of the season," said Saints head coach Moe Boyle.
