WHITEFISH— Jessie DePell of Montana Tech was named the Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

DePell is a 6-0 senior wing from Spokane, Wash. Montana Tech went 2-0 for the weekend as they defeated South Dakota School of Mines 79-63 and Black Hills State 60-55.  

DePell averaged 20.5 points and three rebounds per game. She was 17 of 31 (54.8 percent) from the field.
